10G SFP+ to SFP+ OEO Fiber to Fiber Media Converter
The 10G OEO (Optical-Electrical-Optical) converter is a 3R signal repeater and media converter that regenerates degraded 10 Gbps optical signals. It performs Re-amplification, Re-shaping, and Re-timing to overcome distance limitations and support seamless wavelength or media transitions across network backbones.
This standalone 10G OEO Converter (3R Repeater) is available with SFP+ to SFP+, XFP to XFP, or SFP+ to XFP slot configurations. Using optical-electricity-optical conversion principles, it enables optical signal amplification, regeneration, re-timing, and wavelength conversion. When combined with coarse/dense wavelength division multiplexing, it facilitates efficient WDM transmission.
The solution enables rapid communication capacity improvement and bandwidth expansion on existing networks through cost-effective, easy-to-operate systems.
